Johnson Educational Center relies on contributions to provide excellent staff and facilities for our students and the community. Everything we do is made possible by supporters like you.
You can give once, become a recurring donor, or pledge a certain amount each year. We gladly accept check, money order, and cash donations.

Donating Helps the Community
Donations to the Ben D. Johnson Educational Center provide funding for our programs, staff salaries, and facility maintenance. All 3 of these aspects are dependent on each other. Without our facilities, which includes the BDJ offices and classroom, lab kitchen classroom, Legacy Café and the Legacy Garden, we would not have the space and equipment needed to continue our programs.
Our staff are worth their weight in gold! They give all of themselves every day! Making it possible for them to provide for their families and continue to work at the BDJ Center is our goal. Let’s work together to keep the best and brightest right here at the BDJ Center!
Our programs, of course, are the reason we are here and how we fulfill our mission, to build community in Natchitoches and give access to social and economic success to all its residents. Donation Levels
Supporter - $250 Donation
Supporter level donors receive their name in the Newsletter.
Advocate - $500 Donation
Advocate level donors receive their name in the Newsletter along with BDJ Swag.
Patron - $1,000 Donation
Patron level donors receive the benefits of previous levels as well as their name on the Donor Wall.
Benefactor- $2,500 Donation
Benefactor level donors receive the benefits of previous levels as well as two complimentary tickets to the “I Tried” Event.
Recurring Donations
A recurring gift is a donation made on a schedule. We call Recurring Givers Village Members because “it takes a village” to Transform Lives and Build Community.

If you would like to become a Village Member, please call (318) 460-7460 and we would be happy to help you set up a recurring donation schedule. You can use a debit/credit card here in Donate Today, send a check or a money order to us on the schedule that you prefer. An Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) can also be set up through your bank.
